Death Before Dishonor XI Results

Ring of honor's D.B.D results:

- Before the show even started, Steve Corino entered the building demanding his reinstatement and was thrown out by security

- Former World Champion Jay Briscoe came to the ring, with the World Title in hand, to kick off the show and told Nigel McGuinness that if you want to be successful in life, you have to put hard work in. Jay said that the company is only as good as how hard their employees work. He said that eleven years ago, ROH was born at the Murphy Rec Center and that he was on the first show. Jay said he's spent his entire adult life trying to make this company grow and that when Kevin Steen and SCUM were trying to take down the place, he kicked Kevin's ass and took the title. Jay said that according to Nigel, he has an injury and isn't allowed to defend the title so he was stripped. Jay asked why Nigel, when he was the ROH champ, was allowed to defend the title hurt but he can't. Jay also said that he knows Nigel is just the messenger but told him that from the bottom of his heart, “this is bull****”.

Jay then said that his daddy told him not to look back but look ahead and that if the winner of the tournament wins like a man, like the way he won the belt, he's going to have to come down and hand the belt over. Jay said he doesn't want to but he will and that when he's cleared to wrestle, he's going to return and take the belt back.

Following the match Jay Briscoe returned to the ring to present the new champion with the title belt.
