John Pollock of The Fight Network recently interviewed Brodus Clay, who discussed his movie, No One Lives. Brodus also talked about the creation of his current character, which was spawned after Vince McMahon walked in on him jokingly dancing to the song Moves Like Jagger in a white suit.
He went on to discuss the incident with Cameron at dress rehearsals at WrestleMania which aired on the premiere episode of Total Divas, which led to Cameron's boyfriend, Vincent, wanting to fight him.
"I think he [Vincent] was doing that display for the cameras," Brodus said, who noted that he would have been easy to find at the stadium. "Up until that day, I had never seen Cameron cry a day in her life. She's always been a tough, very confident, very outspoken woman. Some would say she could even be a bit bullying at times... Vincent's thing, I think, was more for the cameras because I saw him at the end of the night, and he definitely wasn't yelling and screaming at me."
Brodus revealed that the argument was over how Cameron reacted to Sweet T after he was saying that they had to get everything right when mistakes were being made at rehearsal.
"When he [Sweet T] says something, you should probably respect it, and that wasn't done. I said something to her about it, and she said something to me about it, and I said 'I'm not dealing with it' and I walked away. And I guess she looked at it as an opportunity, I'm not really sure... and for her to smart off to him, and to say what she said to him and the way she said it was really disrespectful to a guy who has been in the business a long time. Let's say he was wrong, which he wasn't, just out of respect listen to what he has to say. And she didn't, and I called her out on it."
